No doubt Trump’s own zealotry and self-idolatry would shelter his ego from harm, for even a seven-year-old primary school student would cringe at the redundancy and inaneness of his attempt at a logical thought process in pursuit of his own brand of Twitteroracy.
Any change cannot occur without recognition of the need to change (too many Dr. Phil episodes have told us this). True change and true cultural change cannot occur unless it affects us or the group at an emotional level. Change is about learning and learning occurs best when it is attached to an emotion.
There is no true story that doesn’t make you laugh and cry. No matter how awful and tragic a story there is always an element of comedy. It releases tension – we need that release – even Shakespeare does this in the beginning of Macbeth before the murder of King Duncan where there is some serious comedy schtick going on (pardon the pun…).
In industries or vocations where creativity or free thinking seems like a fading star in a galaxy far, far away, we can find artists implementing science to demonstrate the commonalities between groups.
One of the greatest things that our current interconnectivity provides us with, is an exposure to more culture, more groups, more businesses, more industries and an opening of the realisation of possibilities that we might be more alike than our current world view permits
Treat everyone as your peer. Be direct. Be honest. Be true. Its that simple.
