What some of Shane's clients say

Gravitas Leadership Group

Fulton Smith - Executive Director, Consulting Services

“Shane recently worked with us on a video project for a major client. Shane’s professionalism was fantastic – his approach was a great mix of creativity and pragmatism to meet the client’s needs. His humour ensured that the atmosphere was kept light and entertaining yet focused. Shane was highly regarded by the crew and all expressed a keenness to work with him again. Thanks Shane, great job.”

Shane Clews

Queensland Government

"Shane always stressed the importance of staying true to yourself and not lowering your standards to "fit in". After many years people still count Shane as one of the best and fairest leaders they have ever worked for. That's testament to Shane's integrity and his ability as a leader to have people follow his path."

Aaron Evans

Freelance Theatre Director

"I’d neglected myself for years, without ever noticing. It wasn’t until Shane enabled me to look at myself, I realised what I’d been doing, and more importantly, what I was missing. From that, I’ve become more grounded and focused on what I want to give to the world. Truly grateful for the lesson."

CDS Australia

Clive O'Sullivan - Director

"Shane is a very good MC and kept things moving which was needed."

"I just wanted to say Thank You once again for everything you did for the Jacaranda Dinner! We couldn't have pulled off such a successful night without your help."

Speaking Topics

With over 30 years of experience, Shane is a consummate professional on matters of leadership and culture. An expert communicator, he will keep your audiences informed, inspired and engaged but most of all entertained.

Be a leader even when you are the only one in the team

Involved in leading individuals, teams and organisations for over 30 years, Shane believes that leading is a skill that can be learnt and practiced. He also believes that before we do anything else, we need to lead ourselves.

Shane will give you the formula to change your life by simply picking that shirt, going with the long black instead of the flat white, all while dancing with a Suzuki motorcycle around the fuel bowsers at a service station in a small country town.

Make Culture your Value Proposition

Culture is the one thing that lies at the heart of us all. It’s the ethos, the spirit, the vibe that keeps us together. But to do so, culture is something that must be practiced both as an individual and as a group. Culture defines us. It is our character.

Learn how to ensure that culture remains the essence that drives our lives, interests and organisations. Why it must be our value proposition. Even if it means practicing your quick-draw in your underpants in the locker room in front of a mirror.

It's time to fix the Fixers

What’s the 'Fixers' purpose? The constant daze of continual change makes it almost impossible to work out but two things lie at the heart of it all. Culture and Frameworks. 'Fixers' frameworks and culture, are the cornerstone for 'Fixers' and their organisations to find their purpose.

Shane shows how to promote the values of change and development over process and control, discover the value of integration to create opportunities and restrict limitations and foster frameworks and cultures that enshrine the effective preservation of your greatest asset - your people.

Even if it means rethinking your drinking habits in a packed courtroom....

Let's make your event a huge success!

Podcast – Keeping it REAL

Most of us guys have a hard time keeping it real with ourselves, let alone others. We put on these costumes of manhood and pound our chests and that’s supposedly our real self. Rick Clemons, my mate from the States and I are calling bull shit and keeping it real. Its the only acronym you'll need.

Podcast – Stepping out of the status quo closet

I was bullied in school. At 17, I was left at the crossroads of pursuing a career as a DJ or becoming a police officer, and for purely monetary reasons, I chose the uniform. Even with the uniform, the bullying continued, but I survived for 26 years in the line of duty working my way up the ladder, leading the status quo life, becoming "King of the S**t," and then stepping up the ladder to consider becoming "S**t of the Kings!"  Finally, the status quo of life sent me to the dark places of anxiety and depression. I recently appeared on the 'Life (Un)Closeted Podcast as a guest of Rick Clemons, Inspiring Speaker, Status Quo Disruptor and Bold Move Expert. Sharing my truth, my journey, and my 'uncloseting' from living a status quo life, even when others scratched their heads thinking, "What's wrong with this bloke? His life looks pretty damn good to me!"
