Old sayings never lose their relevance because they remain so often, so apt. We’ve all heard many of them: When one door shuts…, Too many cooks…, Many hands…

This month, the saying ‘It never rains, it pours’, is very real for me. I’m about to embark on a hectic four weeks all while directing a show for ILT at the Incinerator Theatre!

To be honest, though, I wouldn’t have it any other way. When pursuing my passion, it is these times when I genuinely know that I am on the right track in wanting to help people with my message and experience. I’m going to need a Bex and a good lie down at the end of August, but the sense of achievement will be immense!

These are the fantastic businesses and organisations that I will be working with over the next month, and I feel very humbled that they have allowed me to be a part of their communities during this time.

Tradies in Business – Speaker – Webinar – Be a leader, even if you are the only one in the team

Ipswich Hospital Foundation – Park2Park Run – Stage Manager & Announcer

Regional Youth Mental Health Forum – West Moreton Health Region – Emcee

Ignite Brisbane – Speaker – Be a Leader, even if you are the only one in the team – in 5 minutes!!

English Teachers Association of Queensland – Be a Leader, even if you are the only one in the team – The Director’s Cut

National Policing Summit – Melbourne – Is it time to Fix the Fixers Framework?

I know that in my business there will be peaks and there will be troughs. Even though the troughs may at times feel like the deepest of trenches, it is these peaks that keep me going and reaffirm for me that my message is right, my message is strong, people want to hear my message and the giving back to the community pays itself forward, back to me in the long run.

This is the infinite game. I won’t be sitting on the sideline.
